陈若陵教授简介

陈若陵教授，英国胡弗汉顿大学健康与卫生保健研究中心，公共卫生研究教授/博士生导师/流行病与全球健康教研室主任。1982年本科毕业于安徽医科大学；1986年中山大学公共卫生学院，获医学统计学理科硕士；1997年英国阿伯丁大学医学院，获流行病学博士。BMC杂志副主编，英国精神病学快报、世界精神病学杂志和中华疾病预防与控制杂志，编辑委员。英国皇家医学会会员、英国皇家统计学会会员、国际流行病学会会员。主持各类科研基金项目27项，发表SCI论文180余篇。

陈若陵教授关于二手烟暴露与痴呆综合征及阿兹海默症的联系的新研究发现，引起公众、专业研究机构及媒体包括地方、国家及国际媒体如每日邮报、英国广播公司新闻网的关注。并受到美国之音、凤凰卫视等节目专访。其关于“老年人未被检测的痴呆和抑郁和它们的的决定因素”、“医疗保健在伦敦南部中风登记的中风患者中的不平等”等近年研究成果，均受到公众关注和伦敦、英国和世界媒体广泛报道，这些研究结果为政府减少社会经济损失和改善患有痴呆和抑郁的老年人的卫生服务及护理提供了新的证据，有助于卫生决策者提出需要消除医疗保健不公平及改善中风预后的措施，对公共卫生及世界范围的卫生政策制定有很大的影响。
